PhD in Biomedical Sciences
The interdisciplinary PhD Program accommodates all aspects of Biomedical Science in the broadest sense of the term. This Program is open to participation by faculty conducting research in this area irrespective of academic affiliation. Currently, the major participants are from the departments of Molecular Biology and Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Biomolecular Science Center and Nanoscience Technology Center.
This training produces scientists who are not only capable of doing independent research, but who can also work as part of interdisciplinary teams to solve important problems in biomedical sciences.
